iKholwa – Pledge form
IIG CLASS OF 2019 DETERMINED TO PAY IT FORWARD
The IIG’s Class of 2019 students are being provided with valuable exposure, experience and leadership development. Although this is a great opportunity for us to learn from our industry’s best, it also presents an opportune time for us to make a meaningful impact to the lives of the most vulnerable of society, the children of our beautiful country.
This year we chose Ikholwa Children’s Home as the charity we would like to raise money for. The home was established 17 years ago, with the sole purpose of providing abandoned and orphaned children, who have been infected or affected by HIV/AIDS, with the hope of an improved life. They have three homes in the West Rand of Gauteng, each accommodating eight children whose ages range from birth to 18 years. They are registered as an NPO and also enjoy Section 18A Tax Exemption status. We don’t know how they’ve done it but it’s truly mind-blowing that they’ve touched the lives of over 150 children since they opened their doors!
The pledge process
Ikholwa relies solely on donations and funds will be used to cover the running costs of the various homes and provide the children with an education. Please note that groceries and pro bono services are most welcome.
- It’s a simple as completing the below online pledge form.
- Once you have done this, a Class Of 2019 future leader will be in touch with you.
