The Insurance Institute of Gauteng
The Insurance Institute of Gauteng (The IIG) is an association not for gain,
established to serve the interests of the insurance community in Gauteng.
Its primary aim is to provide a vibrant and effective networking platform for
the employees of Insurance Companies and Brokers operating in the province.
The IIG is proud of its role in supporting the community. It provides student
bursaries and supports various charities. It also works closely with the Insurance Institute of SA.
IIG Student Bursary Program
During 2009, the IIG sponsored four students who successfully completed their year at the CIDA City Campus College. Click here to view a profile of the students.
IIG Charity Initiative
Since its launch in 2005, the IIG managed to raise more than R1 000 000 for charity. Charitable organisations currently benefiting from this initiative is:
- Just One Child (Children),
- Frederic Place (Elderly) and
- Wetnose Animal Rescue Centre (Animals).
